News from the Lester Public Library
Directions to access Atriuum, Online Public Access Catalog
To search first click on the Atriuum logo located on the upper right corner of the Lester Public Library of Rome Web Page.
After clicking on the Atrium logo, the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) will appear.
Patrons may access their accounts by clicking on My Items (left hand column), and entering their Library Barcode Number (found on library card) and Patron PIN (a PIN can be obtained from the library during a personal visit; PIN's will not be given out over the phone.)
To RENEW an item, click on the Circulation tab. Locate the item you wish to renew by checking the box next to the title. Click on the Renew button in the My Items window. The renewed item will show up at the bottom of the list of Items Checked out with a new due date.
To RESERVE an item, go to the top of the page and type in the Title, Author or other identifying information in the search box and click on go. Select the item you would like to reserve by clicking on the title, the screen will show that item. To the right of the description you will see if the item is In or Out. Click on the Title and confirm the format (LP = Large Print; F = Fiction; A = Audio, etc.) To reserve the item, select RESERVE. The patron will be taken to another screen, where they will again be asked to confirm the reserve. Check Reserve again to finalize the reserve.
Checking the Status of Items
If the item reserved is IN please check the list You Have Items Waiting for Pickup (the item will be waiting for pickup at the library). If the item is OUT, please login and check the status of reserves. Patrons may find times when they cannot renew or reserve an item. If this occurs please call the library for more information.
