One World, Many StoriesOne World, Many Stories @ Your Library

Our Summer Reading Program kicks off with a picnic on Saturday, June 18th at the library. The weekly programs begin June 21st at 2:00pm and will continue every Tuesday through July 26th. Children, parents, and grandparents are invited to celebrate reading and enjoy books, crafts, live performances, and lots of fun this summer. We give away TWO BICYCLES to the top two youth readers of the summer!

Join us this summer as we explore the theme, “One World, Many Stories” through programs, books, and activities at the Lester Public Library of Rome. The 2011 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool age through middle school age, and adults. We will have weekly crafts, prize drawings, trivia contests, public performances, and more. Here is a preview of our scheduled performances:

NOTE: Location is the Rome Town Hall unless stated otherwise

All reading records must be turned in by July 19th to be eligible for awards.
