Come to the library and share your knowledge on knitting, crocheting or sewing with other people. If you are a beginner, the members would love to teach you something new. This program is for all ages and is free to the public. Come in, make some new friends and have fun!

St. Patricks Crafts for kids

Come down to the library and make some fun St. Patricks Day Crafts. Kids can paint a heart shamrock using toilet paper tubes or make a rainbow with a pot of gold to take home. All materials are supplied and this is free to the public. If you have questions please call 715-325-8990.

MIni Catapult Building Contest Week

Monday, March 25, 2019 - 10:00am to Saturday, March 30, 2019 - 1:00pm

During the last week of March, stop by our makerspace room and build your own mini catapult. Then use that catapult to see how far you can shoot a puff ball. At the end of the week, we will have a prize for the child whose catapult shoots the furthest.

Moives for Grown-Ups: Fences

Join us as we finish out our month of Oscar Nominated Movies with a movie about a black garbage collector in 1950's Pittsburgh named Troy Maxson. Bring your snacks and friends. This event is free to the public.

 

 

Movies for Grown-Ups: Arrival

It is Oscar Nominee month. Join us as we show this film from 2017. See what happens when a linguist tries to communicate with aliens who have suddenly arrived at various locations on Earth. Bring your snacks and friends. This event is free to the public.

 

 

 

Memory Cafe

Join us at the library for our Memory Café. This is a social gathering  where individuals with memory loss, mild cognitive impairment, early Alzheimer’s, or other dementias can come together. Family and friends are encouraged to join. We’ll meet once a month so you can visit, share common interests, and enjoy refreshments. Each monthly café is unique and offers a program or activity that’s stimulating and fun. Activities will be chosen by participants, depending on interests.

Healthy Living with Diabetes

Wednesday, April 17, 2019 - 1:00pm to 3:30pm

The library has partnered with the Aging & Disability Resource Center to bring this 6 week class to help adults living with Type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, or who live with someone that does. In this weekly interactive class, learn to set goals, problem solve, improve blood sugar, make healthy food choices, and new solutions to live well. Registration is required, call 920-787-6666 or toll free 1-877-883-5378. There is a suggested donation of $15 but this is not required to take the class.

This program meets every Wednesday, March 13-April 17.
