The library and Master Gardeners have teamed up to offer a new program at the library called Garden Seminars. On the 3rd Tuesday of every month, the gardeners will discuss gardening topics such as planting, pests, environmental issues and food preservation. This program runs April through October and free is to the public. All ages are welcome and we encourage families to participate.

Tuesday, August 20- Those D*** Garden Pests.  This seminar will discuss some of the most common garden pests you have to deal with throughout the gardening season. They will have some tips and tricks to deal with these pesky bugs!

Tuesday, September 17- Food Preservation.  Jackie Carattini from Wood County UW-Extension will give a presentation about canning and preserving harvests from your garden.

Don't forget the Master Gardeners are at the library every Wednesday during the summer and fall from 9-11am. They are happy to answer any questions you have and would love to show you the beautiful gardens they maintain on the library grounds.
