Purpose
The Friends of the Library is organized exclusively for the specific purposes of:
- Advocating continued growth and development of library resources and facilities
- Promoting community awareness and understanding of the library
- Encouraging community support of library services and projects
What are Friends for?
To provide volunteer support for the library
To stimulate gifts to the library
To promote and improve library services
To raise funds for immediate needs and long range projects
To assist the Foundation of the Lester Public Library of Rome in the Library Expansion Fundraising
Meetings
The next meeting is on Friday, May 9th at 8:30 a.m. Continental Breakfast starts off the annual meeting. Everyone interested in the Library and the Friends group is invited to attend.

Volunteer Opportunities
