Registration Week for Summer Reading Program-Tails and Tales

When: 
Tuesday, June 1, 2021 - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Come to the library to register and receive your folder and reading slips for our summer reading program, Tails and Tales. This program is for ages 0-18 and all ages are welcome at our programs. If you have questions, please visit the Summer Reading Program Tab on our website or call the library at 715-325-8990.

Rome Garden Club

When: 
Wednesday, June 2, 2021 - 9:00am to 10:15am

Do you like to garden? Are you new to the Rome area and not sure what to plant? Join the Rome Garden Club and have the opportunity to share and exchange ideas with others in the community, as well as practical learning. This club will meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month and all ages are welcome. The meeting on June 2, at 9:00am will focus on herbs and how to grow them. If you have questions, please call the library at 715-325-8990.

 

Rock Painting on Fridays

Where: 
outside patio in back of the library

Come to the library and paint some rocks while relaxing on our patio. We will have examples or create your own ideas. All materials will be supplied.

Whale of a Tale by Colossal Fossils

When: 
Tuesday, June 15, 2021 - 3:00pm to 4:00pm
Where:

Learn about whales, their ancestors, and their unique adaptations that allowed them to become the world's biggest animals that ever lived. This program features a collection of huge bones that will show you just how amazing these giants truly are.

Lego Building

Come to the library and build some awesome Lego creations. Bring the family and have some fun!

Live Action Angry Birds

Try your hand at a Live Action Angry Birds game. Destroy towers and knock down the pigs!

JAM'S Alpaca Ranch

Saturday, June 19, 2021 - 9:00am to 12:00pm
Where: 
library grounds and community room

Come meet Jellybean Lee the Alpaca. Learn about Alpacas and have the opportunity to give them a treat. Then enjoy Aplaca themed crafts.
