Garden Seminars: Prepare to Plant

In this seminar you will learn how to start seeds indoors and improve your gardens soil. You will also learn how to prepare straw bales for a straw bale garden. You will plant 6 pots to take home and add to your own garden. Jennifer Fane and Fern Fregien will be leading this seminar. Registration is required for this seminar. Garden Seminars: Make and Take Container Planting

Tuesday, May 19, 2020 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm

For this seminar, participants should bring a pot no larger than 12" to take home a plant to start their own container garden. There is a fee of $5.00 to cover the cost of plants and potting soil. Garden Seminars: Planting the vegetable, straw bales and square foot gardens

Tuesday, June 2, 2020 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Bring your gardening clothes and use what you have learned to help the Master Gardeners plant the gardens around the library. This is a practical application, not a seminar. Jennifer Fane and Jeanne Osgood will lead. In the case of bad weather, a rain date will be June 3 at 9:00 am.

Garden Seminars: Worm Composting

Tuesday, June 16, 2020 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm

In this seminar, learn how to compost with worms and your own kitchen scraps at home. Registration is required for this seminar. When you register, please indicate if you will be supplying your own 14 gallon container (solid color and tight fitting lid) or if you will need to purchase a container from the gardeners for a fee of $12.00. Butterfly Learning Day at the Library

Garden Seminars: Environmental Stewardship-Sustainable Garden Practices
