Join Lisa Brazeau from Rejuvenate with Yoga for a gentle but powerful yoga session every Friday at 11am. Classes start October 11th and will continue until the Farmer's Market opens for the 2025 season (likely in May). A $5 donation is appreciated but not required to participate.
Let's Get Crafty: Book Page Witch
Using old book pages, create a whimsical Halloween witch to add to your fall decor! Basic materials will be provided. Feel free to bring extra supplies for more personalization.
Registration is required as space is limited. Call the library (715) 325-8990, email nmenzel [at] romepubliclibrary.org, or stop in to reserve your spot!
Storybook Scarecrow Walk
Walk the wooded trail behind the Lester Public Library of Rome from October 14th-November 3rd, where you'll find a gathering of storybook-themed scarecrows! Vote for your favorite creation inside the library, and bring a non-perishable food item to donate for an extra vote. This is an all ages, family-friendly event!
Please note, the trail is not specifically ADA accessible. Those who use wheelchairs or mobility assistance devices may have a harder time navigating the trail. However, photos of each scarecrow will be on display inside the library as well so everyone can still participate in the voting!

Paranormal Wisconsin with Chad Lewis
Chad Lewis, researcher, author, and lecturer, has spent the past 30 years searching out unique and bizarre stories and histories from around the world. Some of those stories take place right here in Wisconsin! Get ready to hear about the strangest cases of alien abductions, haunted places, mysterious creatures, crop circles, and everything else weird and unusual in Wisconsin.
All ages are welcome to attend this presentation, however we encourage parents/guardians to decide if a spooky event is appropriate for their child.
