The Lester Public Library of Rome is currently seeking a part-time Youth Library Aide. This position will average 15-20 hours per week, including days, evenings, and Saturdays with a starting wage of $10.00/hr. This position does not include benefits.
The Youth Library Aide is responsible for customer service to patrons while working to complete tasks in the areas of shelving, processing, and various duties assigned, including responsibly closing the library. He or she must be able to work independently while responding positively to team environments, have excellent problem solving skills, and be willing to work with a diverse service population. This position reports to the Library Director.
